My Little Post Regarding Water Purification Systems
November 3rd, 2011 Posted 7:55 pm
I only drink distilled water. My buddies have a hard time understanding why I just don’t drink tap water like they do. I can drink normal tap water. I’ll have any hangups regarding it.
Not only do they not understand, but they sometimes work to thwart my attempts to drink clean water.
Sometimes they try to change my mind. Someone tried to explain that it was pointless to drink purified water since the water is just absorbed in your skin anyway. Check out water purification systems info site, water purification systems web blog, www site.
It is a fact that impurities are absorbed by the body whenever you have a shower. However, they do not want me to buy a shower filter. They really wanted me to do is stop drinking distilled water.
Ultimately, I think when individuals see that you have a water filter they start to panic a little bit. They think to themselves “why is he doing that”? Will there be something wrong the water?
Most individuals have a one-size-fits-all mentality individuals it comes to life. They don’t understand that some individuals may be healthier than others and they don’t have to worry about having fluoride and chlorine in the water supply I do (or maybe that others actually care about their health more than others).
Obviously it won’t help that there are so many contradictory opinions with regards to water filtration. Water filters might be a necessity for people in some counties and cities.
Water that you get from the tap has to be treated before you can drink. Your local city government is in charge of getting all of your water clean. You have to make it suitable for consumption by humans by filtering it, adding chlorine, and ammonia. Fluoride helps you to get rid of all the various toxins in the water.
Any wonder why most people only drink a couple glasses of water a day? Most beverage companies use distilled or filtered water in their juices (orange juice, apple juice) because, they couldn’t make do with selling that crap to people. It tastes horrible and it makes the drinks less healthy. Not too bad but, no one will pay to drink it. In the Western world no one would pay for orange juice that is half tap water.
A lot of people buy water filters becaues they don’t like the taste of tap water. I knew one woman who would bring home tap water from her mother’s house because she happened to live in a city where they put fluoride in the water and her tap water did not have fluoride. She believed that fluoride would help with healthy teeth.
Fluoride is simply waste from aluminum refineries. Initially fluoride was included in water because it was too poisonous to go out into the ocean (probably harm the sea creatures). They basically used people as human waste storage and they told them that it would help them have strong healthy teeth to find a way with it.

Thinking About a Water Filtration System?
July 19th, 2010 Posted 8:47 am
Thinking about a water filtration system? There are many to choose from. A good place we found was a site called “home water filter comparison.com”. There is comparisons between the top rated consumer models available. They have comparisons available for kitchen, whole house and shower filters. The reports about our water quality certainly would make us realize the importance of having additional filtration of our water supply.
For most of us, we really don’t need a whole house filtration system, we need a good kitchen filter and then a shower filter. Shower filter? Yes. The chlorine that is in our municipal water filter supply isn’t good for us or our skin. When we take a shower our skin is heated and the pores open up and let the contaminants that are in the water to be absorbed.
We found several good kitchen water filtration system available. We particularly liked this Essence countertop water filter. It has a life of 1000 gallons which is twice as much as it’s competitor and has an electronic filter life indicator that tells when to replace the filter.

Impact of Plastic Water Bottles on Landfills
April 13th, 2009 Posted 2:15 pm
Did you know that over 60,000,000 plastic bottles a day are disposed of in U.S. landfills from bottled water use each day.? That is over30 billion plastic bottles a year! That’s a lot of plastic that isn’t biodegradable. Not only that to make matters worse over 17 billion barrels of oil are used to produce those bottles. Then add the transportation and you have an eviromental mess.
Why not use a water filtration system? They are a lot easier on our landfills, the water tastes better and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper too. Our Aquasana water filter costs us less than 9 cents a gallon of water and tastes a heck of a lot better than any bottled water ever did. We went online and got ours through Better Water Store. Included free shipping. It only took a few days to receive it and connecting it was super simple. After a few minutes of running water through it, we were all set up. So do yourself a favor. Go out and get a good filtration system and save money and our planet!
